Unfortunately, due to Medicare billing, we are unable to provide bulk-billed eye examinations for all patients. Apart from children aged 0-5 years and Pension Card Holders, all other consultations have a fee, and Medicare will provide a rebate between 35-100%, which we will process in store at the time of your appointment. Please call the practice to enquire more about our consultation fees and services.

Misight soft contact lenses are worn daily and offer an alternative to wearing glasses while still offering great myopia control. These must be worn at least 6 out of 7 days in the week to achieve myopia control. It is always recommended that patients who wear these lenses also have a spare pair of glasses for times when not wearing them.

We use local compounding pharmacies to manufacture atropine eyedrops as needed. We provide a prescription for each child and they can be collected directly from the pharmacy. Prices usually range between $30-50 per month. Glasses must be worn whilst using the eyedrops to achieve the desired control effect.
Atropine eyedrops are sometimes eligible for private health fund rebates, depending on your fund and level of cover.
