Emergency Eye Care

Our Optometrists are therapeutically qualified to assess, diagnose and manage eye infections and injuries. If you have woken up with a red eye, or feel like you've got a foreign body stuck in there (i.e. metal from grinding), we can help. Please call the practice in a timely manner to receive appropriate care. 

Things that are considered emergencies or that may require urgent care include sudden vision loss, decreased vision, eye pain, redness and irritation, flashing lights, new floating spots, intense light sensitivity, pupils that are unequal in size, double vision, one eye that is not moving like the other, new or severe headaches, eye injuries and chemical burns.
